New Features

Seamless video sharing, now available on mobile.

Share links to video clips and live streams via email or SMS, all at the touch of a button. Offer recipients instant access through a secure video link - perfect for collaboration or quick updates - available now in the mobile app.

Focused thumbnails help you discover the content that matters.

The Discover page now returns thumbnail images for people and vehicles that are focused on your search term. This means quicker access to more relevant search results, and greater efficiency of video discovery and analysis.

Mobile downloads make it easy to keep important videos at hand.

Download video clips directly to your mobile device for quick offline access. Whether you want to save key moments or securely store important footage offline, the mobile app makes it simple to take your videos with you.

Sticky Buttons for Camera Selector Page

  • The camera selector Save and Cancel buttons are now fixed at the bottom of the window, ensuring quick navigation even during extended workflows.

Unified Date and Time Pickers

  • Date and time pickers are now standardized across the app for a consistent experience.

Devices

Assign Cameras to Multiple Groups

  • Increase flexibility in camera management by assigning cameras to multiple groups, making organization simpler and more effective.

Sort Cameras by Name

  • Cameras are now sorted alphabetically in live view on iOS and Android, streamlining navigation.

Video Playback

Playback Speed Options

  • Videos can now be played at 0.25X and 8X speeds, giving you greater control over playback during analysis.

New Features
  • Major Update to iOS Mobile App: We’ve launched a completely new iOS app with better performance for an enhanced user experience. An update to Android app is next.
  • Dewarped Views for Fisheye Cameras: We shipped universal dewarping that works with any fisheye camera. Our software will automatically detect if a camera is a fisheye and generates multiple dewarped views.
  • Camera Reboot from Dashboard: Coram-provided cameras can be rebooted directly from the camera settings page, making it easier for users to manage them. 
  • New Foundation Model for Discover and Gun Detection: We have improved the model that powers Discover and Gun Detection to be more powerful. This means higher quality alerts and better search using natural language.

  • Improved Download Experience: Users can now choose to download audio, or selectively download video clips that contain motion within a specified time frame.
  • Auto-Tracking for PTZ Cameras: For Coram PTZ cameras users can enable auto tracking for people and vehicles from the dashboard. 
  • Reduced Firearm Detection Latency: We’ve made significant improvements to reduce the latency in firearm detection, ensuring quicker response times.
  • Timeline Page Revamp: We have done major upgrades to the user interface of the timeline page. Now the users can see: faces, vehicles, and people separately on the timeline page.

  • Face Recognition and Uploads: Fixed various issues related to face recognition and face upload, ensuring smoother operation.
  • Video Clip Loading: Resolved an issue causing very short (<4s) video clips to not load properly.
  • Settings Dropdown: Fixed a bug where the settings dropdown menu wouldn’t automatically close after selection.

  • Real-time Firearm Detection and Alerts [Beta Release]: Powered by large language & vision models (think ChatGPT), firearm detection and alerts are available in beta within the Coram AI platform – increasing safety with real-time alerts. This feature is fully built and maintained by Coram AI and does not require any third party integration. Reach out to your Account Rep to learn more.

  • Floor Plans: Users can now upload floor maps and drag-and-drop cameras, simplifying camera management and visualization.

  • Connectivity Tools: Speed and ping tests added for troubleshooting, helping administrators diagnose and resolve network issues.

  • Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) Control from Timeline: Control PTZ cameras directly from the timeline page, facilitating quick adjustments during setup. This supports any ONVIF compliant IP camera.

  • License Plate Results Export: Export license plate results as CSV, simplifying data analysis and reporting.

  • Launch of 8, 32, and 80 channel Coram Point servers: Coram Points are now available to support 8, 16, 24, 32, 64, and 80 channels. An even larger capacity Coram Point is coming soon.

What's New
  • Extended Clips Download Duration: Video clips of up to 2 hours can be downloaded, the previous limit was 1 hour. If you require longer download duration please reach out to support.
  • Manual Camera Addition: Users can now manually add camera to Coram Point using the IP address of the camera. This is useful when automatic camera discovery may fail due to VLAN isolation.

In our June release, the following products and features will become available to all Coram AI customers.

Video Poster
New Features
  • Multi-Factor Authentication: Admins can now enable multi-factor authentication for their organization from the Settings page.

  • Journey for Vehicles: We have extended the Journey feature to include both people and now vehicles. Users can automatically track a vehicle across multiple cameras in seconds, saving hours of investigation time.

  • Vehicle-Person Proximity Metric: Users can now create a dashboard to see how often a person comes close to a moving vehicle or forklift. Organizations can use this to highlight examples of dangerous activity, creating easier training opportunity for employees.
What's New
  • Static IP for Coram Point: Users can now set the static IP address to the Coram Point network interface from the Coram dashboard. This has been widely requested and allows for more reliable and consistent network management.

  • Bandwidth Preserving Streaming: On the timeline page, we have made Standard Definition the default to preserve bandwidth. Users can enable High Definition streaming for their own account by going to Settings > Personal.

  • Longer Default Clip Length: We have increased the default length of video clips from 3 minutes to 10 minutes. So when you click on the timeline you can see longer clips at once
